BR Midland Railway Around The 1950’s

Having grown up around both the LMS and LNWR lines out of London (St Pancras and Euston stations) with their many freight yards supplying the city.

It seemed a good starting point for a layout.

With there many types of steam locomotives and rolling stock, which covered vast areas of the UK, and large variety of landscapes, the options for a layout were endless.

Over the years other regions and settings have crept in, But that’s all part of enjoyment of the hobby.
